Detailed Terms For Mutual Fund Investors

Understand the conditions that govern onboarding, transactions, payouts, and ongoing service for Vanshi Wealth clients.

Regulatory Framework

  • Mutual fund offerings are governed by SEBI Regulations.
  • Investments are subject to the Scheme Information Document (SID) and the Statement of Additional Information (SAI).
  • The respective AMC reserves the right to accept or reject any investment application as per applicable regulations.

KYC Compliance

  • Completion of Know Your Customer (KYC) formalities under SEBI and KRA guidelines is mandatory.
  • PAN and, where applicable, Aadhaar details must comply with prevailing regulations.
  • Applications that do not meet KYC requirements may be rejected without processing.

Risk Factors

  • All mutual fund investments are subject to market risks including the potential loss of capital.
  • Schemes do not offer any guaranteed returns.
  • Net Asset Values (NAVs) will fluctuate based on market movements and portfolio performance.

Units and Allotment

  • Units are allotted in accordance with SEBI-prescribed cut-off timings.
  • Units are non-transferable except in the case of transmission to legal heirs/nominees.
  • The respective AMC may delay or reject allotment under exceptional circumstances permitted by regulation.

Redemption and Switch

  • Redemption proceeds are processed as per applicable scheme/SEBI timelines (e.g., T+1/T+3, as applicable).
  • Exit loads, if any, are deducted in line with the scheme terms.
  • Switch requests are permitted subject to the features and restrictions of the source and target schemes.

IDCW / Dividend Distribution

  • Income Distribution cum Capital Withdrawal (IDCW) and dividends are not guaranteed.
  • Distributions are made only when distributable surplus is available as per scheme provisions.
  • The NAV of the scheme is adjusted post distribution to reflect the payout.

Taxation

  • Tax treatment of mutual fund investments is governed by the Income Tax Act, 1961 and applicable circulars.
  • Investors are responsible for meeting their individual tax obligations.
  • Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) may apply in specific scenarios as mandated by law.

Investor Information

  • Account statements and transaction updates are shared via registered email or physical copies, as applicable.
  • Investors must ensure that their contact details and bank account particulars remain current.

Nomination and Transmission

  • A nomination facility is available to investors in accordance with SEBI norms.
  • Transmission of units is carried out for legal heirs or nominees upon submission of required documentation.

Grievance Redressal

  • For service concerns, please contact Vanshi Wealth and/or the respective AMC/Registrar & Transfer Agent.
  • Unresolved grievances can be escalated through the SEBI SCORES platform.

Modification of Terms

  • AMCs/Trustees may amend scheme-related terms as per applicable regulations; investors should refer to official notices.
  • Vanshi Wealth may update its platform terms and disclosures; any changes will be communicated through official notices, email alerts, or website updates.
